A message from Tanner:
Hello my amazing cast! We are quickly approaching Choreography and I can't wait! Please make sure you are taking care of yourselves and staying healthy. Here is some info on how this is all going to go down. Rehearsal will start at 2:45, however on Mondays and Wednesdays I won't be able to get there until around 3 due to my class schedule. Your amazing Dance Captains will warm you up starting at 2:45 so that when I get there we can just jump right in! Make sure to bring a Water Bottle to all dance rehearsals. Please also where appropriate clothing, no jeans or skirts. Also, please bring socks for when you are assigned shoes. You have more than enough time to change before rehearsal starts if you choose to do so. We will be providing some of you with practice skirts, shoes, props, etc. These all need to be handled with respect as to not ruin any of them. Finally, for the level of dance we are doing in this show we need to work hard and focus! There should be absolutely no phones in rehearsal. If you need it for something please talk to me. There should also be no out-of-turn talking once rehearsal begins. You all are absolutely amazing and I couldn't be more excited to start this with you! -Tanner

Changes coming to the musical program 2018/2019:
We are so impressed at the sheer number of people that audition for the musical every year. When we started this 6 years ago we only had 36 people in the cast. We never imagined we would have 113 people auditioning for our musical.
The production team and the FHMS administration have come to the conclusion that in order to keep our students safe on our stage we will need to limit the number of people on the stage. This year we will be making some changes as outlined below. The most important thing to remember is that everyone will still be able to be involved in the musical.
Auditions: everyone will still need to audition
Cast: 80 people from the audition pool will be selected to be in the cast
Tech: everyone else that auditioned will be put on the tech crew. There will be different committees such as Costumes, Hair, Makeup, Advertising, Ushering/Tickets, Programs, and Directing Assistance.
Everyone will be involved and have responsibilities in the musical. We want everyone to still feel like they are playing an active role in the musical. We appreciate everyone's patience as we go through these changes. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Mrs. Martin.
